Machine ServiceIt pays to do your homework when it comes to getting a machine properly serviced!
|
What to Bring with Your MachineOne of the most common problems causing a delay in prompt service is the lack of equipment required to operate the sewing machine brought in for repair. A good way to think of it is ... what parts would you need to create a zigzag stitch on your machine? We basically need the same things! We also may need any other items. Because we have been servicing Bernina sewing machines for more than 24 years, it is safe to assume we have some basic accessories at hand that actually make our job faster and easier. Please consult the following list for the basic model and the equipment required to do a complete, timely service. Note: HEAD refers to the machine itself. Straight stitch plates, straight stitch feet, and special bobbin cases make it difficult to do a basic service on any zigzag machine. Always remember to include the regular sewing equipment. If you are experiencing a specific problem with a special presser foot, device, or attachment, include it with your machine and make sure to mention the issue on the service description. Here are some examples ...
